Skylark Studio is the online gallery of artist Rolf Parker, who specialises in high quality representational pastels, etchings and linocuts of Western Lake District landscapes and street scenes. The Cockermouth studio and gallery was established in 1994 but closed in December 2023 and now operates through this website only.
The greetings card packs, etchings and linocuts can all be ordered from this site online. If you have visited the gallery in the past and would like to mail order other items you have seen, including original pastels illustrated on the 'currently available paintings' page please contact me, also If you would like to discuss commissioning a painting of your choice of view. 'Six packs' of Cockermouth greetings cards from the pastel paintings by Rolf Parker. A pack contains six different views which can be seen on the 'Greetings Cards Packs' page of this site and purchased on the 'Online Shop' page. Currently eleven different six packs are available ; Cockermouth 1, 2, and 3, Lakes 1, 2, 3 and 4, Cockermouth Christmas selection', Cockermouth Christmas selection No.2', 'Snow scene collection', 'Linocuts' and 'Etchings'. The online price is £1.95 per card x 6, so £11.70 in total. Your card payment is processed via Paypal, or cash on delivery is available if you live locally. You can also order 6 of any combination of cards if you e-mail or telephone to let me know which ones, which will be the same price as a standard six-pack. - The Pastel Gallery is intended as a guide to the artist''s style and subject matter. Please enquire to view currently available work. Prices are between £350 and £400 for a framed painting (frame size approx. 59 x 46cm.). Larger formats are available, e.g.82 x 65cm between £500 and £700. Commissions are accepted.
