Established in 1994, Skylark Studio is the gallery and workplace of artist Rolf Parker, who specialises in high quality representational paintings, etchings and linocuts of Western Lake District landscapes and street scenes. Situated in the attractive town of Cockermouth, which is a good base for exploring the quieter northern and western areas of Cumbria, the gallery also stocks a great selection of reasonably priced British - made crafts, fashion jewellery made on the premises and greetings cards. The etchings can also be bought from this site online. If you have visited the gallery in the past and would like to mail order other items you have seen, including original pastels illustrated on the 'currently available paintings' page please contact me, also If you would like to discuss commissioning a painting of your choice of view.
NEW !! - 'Six packs' of Cockermouth greetings cards from the pastel paintings by Rolf Parker. A pack contains six different views which can be seen on the 'Greetings Cards' page of this site and purchased on the 'Online Shop' page. Currently five different six packs are available ; Cockermouth 1 and 2, Lakes 1 and 2, and Cockermouth Christmas. The price is £1.50 per card x 6 plus £1.50 U.K. post and packing, so £10.50 in total. Your card payment is processed via Paypal.

Tuesdays to Saturdays 10a.m.-4p.m. (closed December 25th.- 30th.). Situated in Cockermouth at 9,South Street, which is just off Station Street ,(in the direction of the River Cocker), close to the Tithe Barn pub and Mitchells auction house. Please use town car parking and find us on foot. (Street parking in town is available limited to a one hour stay but you need a time disc, available free from many shops.)
